PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high developing performance, and also, to prevent the occurrence of toner milt-sticking and the damage of a sleeve member by combining a 1st developer apply means constituted of a rotary sleeve member and a permanent magnet which is rotated in a direction reverse to that of the rotary sleeve member and a 2nd developer apply means constituted of a rotary sleeve member and a stationary permanent magnet. SOLUTION: Due to a magnetic field formed by a 2nd magnet means constituting the 2nd developer apply means 31, the developer 100 passing through a developing area 6 while being held on the circumferential surface of the 1st sleeve member 21 of the 1st developer apply means 20 is transferred to the circumferential surface of the 2nd sleeve member 31. The developer 100 held on the circumferential surface of the 2nd sleeve member 31 of the 2nd developer apply means 31 is separated resulting from non-existence of a magnetic attraction force in a developer peeling area 35 formed in the 2nd apply means 31, then a peeling means such as a cleaning blade, etc., for separating the developer 100 is unnecessitated. |
