PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the S/N of data. SOLUTION: When a system which transmits, stores, and processes data performs irreversible data compression and expansion, information generated by processing original data and data obtained by coding the original data by means of a coder 1 and decoding the coded original data by means of the decoder 2 corresponding to the coder 1 by means of a data processor 3 is added to the coded original data coded by means of the coder 1. Therefore, the S/N of the data can be improved as compared with the data obtained by means of the conventional irreversible data compander. |
