PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a mail system to quickly deal with the delay of a mail by automatically detecting a delayed server or route and informing a troubled server of the detected result to dial with the delay. SOLUTION: A mail is transmitted from a transmitting server 1 to a receiving server 3 through a repeating server 2. A the time of receiving the mail, the server 3 refers to the history of transmission, extracts transfer requiring much time, and at the time of judging that the server 2 is a cause of the delay, transmits delay information to the server 2. The server 2 checks the state of the server itself in a delay time band, and at the time of judging that the delay is caused by a transmission route, the server 2 or a management server 4 requests the delete of repeating information to the server 1. When the deletion of the repeating information is possible, the server 1 deletes the repeating information in accordance with the request. |
