PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a complete sound experience for a listener, to receive five audio signal inputs (left front, right front, center front, left rear and right rear) for a surround sound system and to provide these inputs to left, and right front speakers. SOLUTION: In this system which enables attainment of function extension, five audio signal inputs 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 are converted into audio signals for being provided to left and right front speakers 16 and 17, while, on the other hand, a perception that a sound comes out of all the surroundings of a listener 100 is given to the listener. At this point, this system is constituted so that a sound and other front center speaker sound is perceived to come out from the center front while sounds directed towards left and right rear speakers are felt by the listener to come out from the same area as the 'missing' rear speaker. |
