PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting method for an inverter driven motor an inverter system applying that method in which no burden is applied to neither a rectifying circuit nor an inverter at the time of starting a motor. SOLUTION: In the starting method for an inverter driven motor, a capacitor 5A is connected in parallel with the feeder lines 7a, 7b of a DC power supply provided by rectifying AC power and the capacitor 5A is charged from a second rectifying circuit 10 with a voltage for supplying the starting current of at least an objective motor 3 to be driven wherein the capacitor 5A has a capacity for storing such an energy as the motor 3 can be started at the stored voltage. After the motor 3 is started by driving an inverter 2 wit the charges stored in the capacitor 5A, power is supplied from a normal DC power supply or the feeder lines 7a, 7b of the DC power supply to the inverter 2. |
