PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having an excellent continuous gradation by always correcting γ property linearly corresponding to the environmental change or the secular change. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a test pattern generating means 40 for generating the image data of a test pattern having gradation, a latent image forming means for forming the latent image of the test pattern, a developing means for visualizing the formed latent image, the image carrier holding the visualized toner image, and a density sensor 25 for detecting the density of the visualized test pattern. Thus the gradation correction is performed based on an output value of the density sensor 25, and the test pattern is generated at least two or more times. |
