ANTENNA GENERATING 2D IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillatory tapered slot antenna for generating a readable image by transmitting/receiving a millimetric wave MEW in order to scan a field of view and then processing the transmitted/received energy. SOLUTION: The antenna generates the image of a sensed field of view with high resolving power by transmitting/receiving an MEN through a flexible resilient tapered slot antenna comprising a resonance cavity 18 and a transformer horn 19. The antenna is applied with an oscillation from a solenoid unit 20 and scans the field of view. A processor chip 32 and an MEN signal generator 33 are bonded to the antenna. A 2D amplitude modulator 34 is bonded to the forward end of the antenna 12 contiguously to the transformer horn 19 and the MEN signal to be transmitted/received is imparted with orthogonality thus effecting 2D orientation scanning. The sensed signal is collated through autocorrelation with an orthogonal power distributed beam being inputted to the processor 32.
