AERIAL OPTICAL FIBER CABLE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the aerial optical fiber cable which reduces manufacture processes and manufacture facilities and can be manufactured inexpensively and can reduce a drawing force applied to the optical fiber cable and resulting strain due and is hard to generate dicing. SOLUTION: The aerial optical fiber cable is constituted which has a support wire 11 and an optical fiber cable 13 coupled and united as a coupling part 12, has many window parts 18 of 1 to 10 mm in width W formed at the coupling part 12 intermittently along the length of the support wire 11, and has the optical fiber cable 13 slackened to the support wire 11 by the window parts 18.
