PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple navigation system that can appropriately perform a course guiding based on the latest information, without using such large capacity storage device as a CD-ROM device in the simple navigation system. SOLUTION: A host computer 9 for setting a course selects such intersection that approaches a straight line connecting the coordinates of a current place and a target place on a related map based on such data as current place and target place sent from the simple navigation system 1A for guiding course, and the coordinate is set as a relay point, and then the data is transmitted to the simple navigation system 1A through a communication mean 8, and the simple navigation system 1A displays in coordinates the reception data from the host computer 9 as a target place, a relay pint, etc., on a display device 5, so a course guiding is available by overwriting a current position on the display screen. |
