PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move an object freely in a virtual 3-dimension space by revising a polar angle of a motion vector depending on a movement amount of a dynamic position so as to decide a direction of the motion vector thereby using a mouse having an entry function of 2 degrees of freedom. SOLUTION: The image processing unit 1 is provided with an acquisition means 14, a display means 13, and a decision means 15. The acquisition means 14 acquires a start position in a virtual 3-dimension space pointed out by a pointing means 3 according to a plane set in the virtual 3-dimension space and a dynamic position pointed out by the pointing means 3 moved from the start position. The display means 13 displays a moving vector specifying a moving position and a start position that is a moving base point of an object, two elliptic loci specified by a virtual sphere whose center is the moving base point of the object and a tip of the moving vector onto a display screen 2. A specifying means 15 decides a moving direction of the motion vector by revising a polar coordinate angle of the motion vector depending on the moving amount when the dynamic position is moved on the elliptic loci. |
