PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the photographic sensitive material having a surface layer not causing fog, even if it is manufactured under high speed and high temperature drying conditions and keeping sufficient slidability and scratch resistance under high-speed conveyance and restrained from remarkable rise of a haze value by incorporating a specified compound in at least one photographic constituent layer. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material is provided on a support with at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one of the photographic constituent layers contains the compound represented by the formula in which M is a divalent metal atom; and each of R1 and R2 is, independently, an alkyl group having the total C number of 24-100. This compound is used in a finely dispersed emulsion state, preferably, in a volume average particle diameter of <=1μm, especially, <=0.5μm.
