PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load distribution and communication cost of FAX server by transferring FAX data to a FAX server with a little load or coincident station number based on a FAX server managing list. SOLUTION: When the load of present server is high, a FAX data managing means 3 acquires the other load distribution enabled FAX server list from a FAX server managing list 4 and in the case of FAX server with a little load, FAX data are transferred by electronic mail. When the load of present server is not high, the station number of the fax number of party to sent a FAX is compared with that of present server and when they are different, based on the list 4, the presence 7 absence of FAX server with the same station number is checked. Then, the FAX data are transferred to the FAX server with the coincident station number by electronic mail. When the FAX server with the coincident station number does not exist, control is dispatched to a FAX data transmitting means 5 and while using a modem connected to the present server, data are directly transmitted to the destination of party to transmit these data. |
