PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for programming and a recording medium, wherein a part mounting program which minimizes the occurrences of a setup change when substrates for different types of devices are manufactured continuously. SOLUTION: First, the parts list for a type 1 device (a) and the parts list for a type 2 device (b) are integrated (parts lists for substrates for a plurality of types of device are integrated) to create an integrated parts list (c), wherein the names of all the parts (A, B, C, D) for the two devices, the total numbers of the respective parts (10, 10, 5, 5), and the number (1) for a part mounter which mounts parts on these substrates are recorded. A combination which allows parts to be efficiently sucked by means of a plurality of working heads is created from the integrated parts list. Based on the combination, the locations of part cassettes are determined and recorded on the integrated parts list. A list (d) of correlation between the parts and the parts cassette locations is created from the integrated parts list. Based on the list of correlation, the parts lists for each part are re-created, in such a manner that the parts list for the type 1 device is re-created and then the parts list for type 2 device is re-created, as shown in (e). Based on these parts lists, a part-mounting program is created by each substrate for each type of device. |
