<p>A method for extracting fat-soluble components from microbial cells containing these components, which comprises disrupting and molding the cells in a dry state with an extruder, in particular, a twin-screw extruder and then extracting the above components therefrom with the use of organic solvents. Thus, the fat-soluble components contained in the cells can be extremely efficiently and safety extracted and collected within a short period of time.</p> |
