FLAME-RETARDANT THERMOPLASTIC POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION

A flame-retardant thermoplastic polyester resin composition which has excellent flame retardancy even without containing a halogenated flame retardant, is satisfactory in mechanical properties and moldability, and has excellent thermal stability in residence. The composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester resin (A), 5 to 40 parts by weight of a specific phosphinic acid salt and/or a specific diphosphonic acid salt and/or a polymer thereof (B), and 1 to 35 parts by weight of a nitrogenous organic substance (C).
