Electrical power generator for low rotational speed

The electrical generator is based upon a rotor and stator design that has a number of coil assemblies. The coil assemblies are positioned such that there is a small air gap between them. Each coil has a semi circular shape. Current flows in the stator due to inductive coupling and each coil is coupled to a current limiting circuit. Typically a machine with 15 stator coils and 8 rotor coils will provide a smoothed dc output through overlapping of single generated pulses.
