The arrangement has at least two workpiece conveyors (18/1-18/3) and at least two measurement stations (20/1-20/3) with measurement devices at a distance apart. The conveyors are mechanically separate, functionally connected, exert horizontal reciprocal movements and convey the workpieces to and from the measurement stations. The conveyors can also perform vertical reciprocal movements. The measurement stations are separate units individually connected to the frame.
