The lamp fitting has a carrier (1) at least partly flat extending longitudinally, provided with a facility (6,7), for the fixing of the light source (8) and means (7,9,10), for the power supply of the light source (8). Also with a shade (2) of flexible plastic sheet at least partly covering the light source. The carrier (1) has a pair of flat elements (4) extending longitudinally on two sides at least partly over the entire length of the carrier. The two flat elements forming a pair, run parallel in slots (3) arranged at a distance to each other, which is larger than the width of the shade (2). The flat elements (4) are inclined in the direction of the light source (8). The shade (2) is held by insertion in the two slots (3) at the carrier (1). Several shades can be fitted in the slot (3).
