PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of copying defect in a one side document both side image copying mode. SOLUTION: The one side document D is set on a platen glass 101 one by one by an automatic document feeding device 200. A sheet S is fed from a paper feeding section 106 or 107. The fed sheet S passes through a photoreceptor drum 103, a pair of fixing rollers 111, an intermediate tray 121, the photoreceptor drum 103 and the pair of fixing rollers 111 to the paper discharge tray 115. In this process, the image on the document of the first sheet is copied on a first side, and the image on the document of the second sheet is copied on the second side. Meanwhile, on feeding the sheet S with the size corresponding to the size of the document D of the first sheet, the image on the first document is copied on the sheet S. Then, in the case the size of the document D of the second sheet is larger than the size of the document of the first sheet, the sheet S re-fed from the intermediate tray 121 is discharged to the paper discharge tray 115 without copying the image of the second document D thereon, and the sheet S of the size corresponding to the size of the document D of the second sheet is fed. |
