PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary magnetic head device manufactured without needing any highly accurate part items, with reduced assembling man-hour and without the necessity of a high skill. SOLUTION: A rotary magnetic head device 10 having magnetic heads RH and WH for recording/reproducing information in a tape information recording medium TP by the magnetic heads RH and WH is provided with upper and lower drums 2 and 1 formed to be nearly cylindrical in shape, a fixed shaft 7 for fixing the upper and lower drums 2 and 1, a fixing means 12 for fixing the upper drum 2 in the fixing shaft 7 and a rotary drum 11 having the magnetic heads RH and WH and held rotatably in the fixing shaft 7 between the lower and upper drums 1 and 2. The upper drum 2 is machined to make the center CT1 of its outer diameter L2 eccentric to the center CT2 of the fixing shaft 7, and by fixing this upper drum 2 in the fixing shaft 7 by the fixing means 12, the upper drum 2 is attached by being eccentric to the lower drum 1. |
