PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and reliable power supply in which the size can be reduced by decreasing the number of switching elements while reducing the loss thereof. SOLUTION: A converter circuit 1 comprises an inductor L1 , a diode D1 , and a switching element Q1 being shared with a converter circuit 2 constituting a chopper circuit having a shaper circuit for shaping the current waveform to increase monotonously and storing energy in an electrolytic smoothing capacitor C1 by converting the voltage. The converter circuit 2 comprises a switching circuit 20 sharing the switching element Q1 , a shaper circuit 21 comprising a rectifying element, i.e., a diode D3 , an inductor L3 and a capacitor C3 constituting a current resonance circuit, and a smoothing circuit 22 comprising an inductor L2 , a diode D2 and a capacitor C2 . |
