The invention relates to a drainage elevator, comprising a base belt (1) consisting of an elastomeric material and several cleats (2), said cleats extending transversally to the longitudinal axis of the base belt (1)and being attached on the bearing side (3) thereof. A compartment (4) for receiving the material being conveyed is formed between each pair of adjacent cleats. Also provided is a driving drum (6) and a diverting drum (7) around which the base belt (1) runs continuously, forming a steep ascent conveying section (8) and a charging section (9). The aim of the invention is to construct a lighter drainage elevator which is also more economical to produce. To this end, a drawing shaft housing (10) is provided. Said drawing shaft housing (10) encompasses the base belt (1) in such a way that the side walls of the compartment (4) are formed by the drawing shaft housing (10) and the charging section (9) and conveying section (8) form an angle alpha of less than 180 DEG on the bearing side. |
