Ecological process for obtaining cellulose. Exceptionally white cellulose is fully released from materials containing it by the controlled reaction of hydrogen peroxide with encrusting lignin bringing about total dissolution, working in an aqueous solution of adequate concentration which has been suitably acidified, without generating toxic or polluting substances, the reaction being carried out under normal pressure and at at least 105 degrees in two separate ways: A) Continuously: conveying the material by means of three screws, 1 in a reactor cylinder with heating and a reflux condenser, 2 in another parallel one for dispersing the pulp by dilution and 3 in another inclined one for washing and discharging the solutions, B) In three stages using a conveyor belt: 1 submerging the material in a tunnel with a heating base and a cooled condenser top, 2 a stage of pulp dilution and dispersion and 3 washing and drying, recycling the water used. <IMAGE>
