It comprises a plurality of adjacent compartments linked to the periphery of a rotary disc 19, under a peripheral portion of the bottom of a receptacle, which are intended to house a single article 12, per compartment, in a lying- down position, and incorporating a drop conduit under each compartment which is displaced together with said compartment, in order to receive the positioned articles 12 as they drop and for subsequent transfer of said articles, in line, onto an output conveyor. In accordance with the invention, provision has been made for a temporary support member 18 for the articles 12 incorporated in each one of said compartments, which member 18 can be tilted selectively when bars 24 rotate as a function of the actuation of actuation means governed by a signal derived from position-recognition means, in order to drop the articles 12, suitably oriented, into said conduits. <IMAGE>
