<p>A connection arrangement comprising first and second components (1,2), such as duct parts, made of fire-resistant materials and coupling means for connecting the first and second components (1,2) together. The coupling means comprise a male member (4) connected to or forming an end part of the first component and a female member (5) connected to or forming part of the second component (2) and defining a socket in which the male member (4) is received. The male member (4) has a substantially even wall thickness which is substantially the same as the width (d) of the socket.
