PURPOSE:To obtain the subject pigment excellent in dispersibility in resins, rubbers, coating materials, inks, cosmetics, paints, etc., and having an improved whiteness degree by blending titanium dioxide with a hydrotalcite in a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:An objective pigment containing 100 pts.wt. titanium dioxide (preferably having 0.1-1.0mum average particle size) and 0.1-20 pts.wt. hydrotalcite (preferably surface treated with higher fatty acid, alkali metal salt thereof, silane coupling agent, titanate coupling agent, aluminum coupling agent or acidic phosphate). |
