PURPOSE:To heighten the accuracy by computing output power of a magnetic flux detecting means being the change of air gap magnetic flux to be compared by trigger pulse signals being the output of a rotational position detecting means which detects it at a specified rotational position, watching the change of the air gap magnetic flux continuously. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage VP of a rotor position detecting means 2 attached to a magnetic pole center is stored in a memory through an A/D converter. The peak value of VP is got by digital data quantity in a slot area corresponding to the rotational speed at the time of measurement reckoning the duration from one rise of VT to the next one period. By finding out the peak value, the change rate of the air gap magnetic flux by the current flowing in the field winding put in each slot can be obtained precisely, resulting in heightening the accuracy of the judgement for layer short. |
