The method involves deriving the yaw rate from the wheel speeds measured by wheel revolution rate sensors on a right and left non-driven wheel by comparing the measured right wheel speed and left wheel speed. The wheel speeds are corrected using a correction factor computed from the wheel speed ratio for straight line motion. The correction factor is used to correct ratio of measured wheel speeds.
