PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently assemble and disassemble a rear arm structure of a motorcycle without drawing out lubricating oil. SOLUTION: A gear housing 39 is provided at an upper reaches part of a drive shaft assembly provided as a part of a rear arm structure body 14, and the gear housing 39 is rotatably supported to a pivot. The interior of the upper reaches part gear housing 39 is partitioned into an inner chamber S2 surrounding the pivot, and an outer chamber S1 enclosing gear mechanism, by a cylindrical partition wall 74 integrally formed at the gear housing 39. At the time of detaching, lubricating oil in the outer chamber S1 is therefore prevented from leaking to the outside even in the pulled-out state of the pivot, and dust, oil sludge, and the like adhering to the tip part of the pivot are prevented from entering the outer chamber S1. There is no need to draw out lubricating oil at the time of disassembly so as to further facilitate disassembly and assembly work. |
