PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily set the water quantity necessary for the cooking of grains to the optimum state. SOLUTION: After setting the rice quality, the desired softness of the cooked rice and the amount of rice to be cooked (step 126), the water content of rice is determined (step 132) to obtain a water content (step 134). The value corresponding to the rice having a quality set by a reference data expressed by a table and having the measured water content is extracted (step 136) based on the obtained water content. The extracted value is corrected according to the conditions of the cooked rice (step 138) and the water quantity necessary for the cocking of the rice at the preset cooking quantity is calculated (step 140). The calculated water quantity is displayed on the water-quantity displaying part (step 142). |
