PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further press a laminated body to draw a sealing material part to a designated thickness, thereby firmly sealing by previously making a sealing material thicker than a designated space of a double glazing, and releasing the laminated body from the decompression state to be exposed to the atmospheric pressure. SOLUTION: With one glass 2 horizontally placed on a placing table, a spherical titanium-made spacer as a spacer 4 is arranged like a grid, and a hot melt butyl wire as a sealing material 5 is arranged extending over the whole periphery, with a part as an opening part 6 from the end part of a sheet glass toward the inside. Subsequently, the other sheet glass 3 is superposed on the glass 2 and temporarily joined to form a laminated body, which is put in a vacuum chamber to heighten the degree of vacuum of space. When it reaches designated pressure, a tube 7 filled with a sealing material, which is fixed to the front of the opening part 6 is pressed to block up the opening part. Thus, a laminated body, the whole periphery of which is sealed, is obtained. Subsequently, air is introduced in the chamber to firmly press the whole of the laminated body with atmospheric pressure, so that it is possible to obtain low-pressure double glazing with a designated sheet glass space. |
