SOLUTION: This substance is represented by the formula (R<1> is OH,β-glucose residue, 6-O-acetyl-β-glucose residue; R<2> is H, methyl; R<3> is methyl, ethyl) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. This substance has the following physical and chemical properties: description: pale yellow candy like; molecular weight: 401; specified rotatory power: [α]D<23> =+4.6 deg. (c=0.1 in methanol). This substance is obtained by culturing a microorganism in Streptomyces (FERM BP-5918) capable of producing this substance on the culture medium at 15-35 deg.C at a pH near the neutral form 3-15 days by the shake culture method and isolating the objective substance from the culture mixture. |
