PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new dye for thermal transfer recording in high density and obtaining a thermal transfer image of performance of satisfactory light resistance. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer dye is represented by a formula, where R<1> denotes alkyl group, R<2> denotes alkyl group which may have substituent, cycloalkyl group which may have substituent or aryl group which may have substituent, and R<3> , R<4> independently denote hydrogen atom, alkyl group which may have substituent, alkoxy group or halogen atom. R<5> , R<6> independently denotes alkyl group which may have substituent, alkenyl group which may have substituent or aryl group which may have subsituent. |
