PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the movement of a writing element beyond a pressing level with a slight force by providing a single bending member between a pressing member and the writing element and stretching the bending member with the structural help of a pressing action by the pressing member and an inclined plane provided on the inner face of a shaft barrel or the pressing member. SOLUTION: A pressing member 7 presses a movable piece 11 by pressing the pressing member 7 forward from a state that a mechanical pencil unit 4 is retracted, and the movable piece 11 moves to the right along the inclined plane 6 of a rear shaft 3. Further, the bending part 9 of a bending member 8 is pressed by the movement of the movable piece 11, resulting in the stretching of the bending member 8. In this case, the bending member 8 itself is caused to move forward by the pressing member 7. The bending member 8 is caused to advance by the forward movement of the pressing member 7 and the stretching of the bending member 8. Here, the forward movement of a receiving part 10 beyond the pressing level of the pressing member 7 is generated and the mechanical pencil unit 4 protrudes from the tip member 5 of a shaft barrel 1 following the advance of the receiving part 10. |
