PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent hot water from being supplied over the maximum flow rate and an allowable pressure from the start of supplying hot water and to protect pipes and parts in instruments, by constricting a flow-rate control valve when supplying hot water to a bath tub and at the same time opening a solenoid valve and start supplying hot water. SOLUTION: When hot water is supplied to a bath tub 14 and the output of a pressure sensor 7 exceeds a specific value, the opening of a flow-rate control valve 16 is constricted, and it is judged whether the output of the pressure sensor 7 at that time goes below a specific pressure or not. When the value is equal to or less than the specific pressure, hot water continues to be supplied. Otherwise, it is judged that a failure has occurred and a solenoid valve 6 is closed. In this manner, water continues to be supplied while detecting a water level in the bath tub 14. Then, when the pressure sensor 7 detects that the level in the bath tub 14 reaches a set water level, the flow- rate control valve 16 is first constricted to the minimum flow rate, and then the solenoid 6 is closed for completing the supply of hot water, thus supplying hot water with the maximum flow rate for preventing erosion and hence reducing hot water supply time that is required for supplying hot water. |
