PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to enhancement of the accuracy of detecting whether or not anything is caught in an automobile window when the window is driven and closed and to prevent detecting errors when detecting whether or not anything is caught in the window. SOLUTION: A rotary angle of a regulator motor 7 is converted by an encoder into a pulse signal, and fluctuation of the pulse signal which is caused by a meshing part formed by a pinion gear 21 transmitting the rotation of the regulator motor 7 and by a sector gear 28 for driving an automobile window 27 to raise or lower the same is canceled, and the frequency difference value of the pulse signal is calculated on the basis of a discriminant. Next, when the frequency difference value calculated exceeds a predetermined reference value, the automobile window 27 is determined to have caught something therein. |
