<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curved surface molding honeycomb core with excellent stability of rigidity and strength and ensuring shape retentivity at the time of manufacturing in the case of a low density core by smoothly forming the curved surface at a two-dimensional curved surface such as a flat plate to cylindrical shape and a three-dimensional curved surface such as spherical shape with excellent curved surface moldability. SOLUTION: The honeycomb core 7 for molding the curved surface comprises a planar assembly of many hollow columnar cells 15 partitioned by cell walls 14 adhered in a filament state. And, the walls 14 between the adhering positions are not formed in a sectional linear state but provided with recesses 16 and protrusions 17 bent inside and outside from a linear state. And the method for manufacturing the core comprises the steps of sequentially stacking and spreading under tension wavy plates 8 coated with adhesive 12, for example, at pitch of each two ridges of an upper surface of the vertex 10 and a lower surface of a trough 11 of its intermediate position and wavy plates 8 not coated with the adhesive to obtain the core 7 for molding the curved surface.</p> |
