PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent compsn. which is excellent in capability for cleaning tiles or metal walls, esp. vertically installed hard surfaces, in a kitchen or work place, is excellent also in capabilities for bubble stabilizing and bubble retention, and exhibits a bactericidal action by compounding an org solvent of which an aq. soln. with a specified concn. has a specified surface tension, a surfactant, bactericide, and water as fundamental ingredients. SOLUTION: The org. solvent used is the one of which an aq. soln. with a concn. of 0.1 wt.% has a surface tension of 70 dyn/cm or lower at 20 deg.C and which pref. is an N-alkylpyrrolidone having a 7C or lower alkyl group. A compd. represented by the formula (wherein R<1> is a 2C or higher alkyl, phenyl, or benzyl; and (m) and (n) are each 0-10 provided the case when m+n is lower than 2 is excluded) can be used as the solvent. Pref., the surfactant is nonionic. An esp. pref. bactericide is a quaternary ammonium salt. Pref., the compsn. further contains a hydrotroping agent and an alkali agent. |
