摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumption of a power and to effect the smooth starting of an engine. SOLUTION: A first motor is arranged in a manner to be coupled to the crank shaft of an engine through a clutch starts an engine in a way that the number of revolutions lower than the number of idling revolutions forms the target number of revolutions. In this case, drive torque of the first motor is outputted to a maximum and the number of revolutions of an engine is gradually raised. When the number of revolutions of an engine reaches No, an injector is operated and fuel is injected in an engine. Torque is outputted and the engine increases the number of revolutions, and output torque of the first motor integrally coupled to the engine is decreased. When a decrease amount exceeds a given value ΔTm, it is decided that the engine effects complete explosion, starting drive of the first motor is stopped. This constitution shortens the starting time of an engine and saves power consumption, prevents the generation of sound vibration through continuous application of torque and provides excellent startability.
