PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ozone generating efficiency in an ozonized water generator by washing off the bubbles of ozone and hydrogen remaining on the contact surface between the cation-exchange resin bed and electrodes and inhibiting electrolysis. SOLUTION: A cation-exchange resin bed 16 is provided in an electrolytic cell 10 between the anode 12 and cathode 13 on which a DC voltage is impressed. Desalted water is supplied to the cell 10, a DC voltage is impressed between the anode 12 and cathode 13 to conduct electrolysis, and ozonized water is generated. In the ozonized water generator, the resin bed 16 is constituted so that water is made passable, a feed passage P1 is provided to supply the desalted water to the resin bed 16, and a couple of discharge passages P2 and P3 are furnished correspondingly to the anode 12 and cathode 13 to discharge the electrolyzed water outside the cell 10. |
