PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a virtual living thing from a remote place. SOLUTION: A shared virtual real space is provided from a shared server 12 to a client PC 2 or PC 3. An AO server 13 manages the growing parameter of a virtual life object in the shared virtual real space and manages the independent behavior of the virtual life object corresponding to this growing parameter. A communication server 16 transmits a message to a user as the keeper of the virtual life object through a telephone equipment 18 and a facsimile 19 corresponding to the state transition of the virtual life object.
