PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat a small bleeding source easily, safely and surely by arranging an electrode on at least either the tip surface or the inner surface of a tip part of a suction tube inserted in a treatment tool insert channel of an endoscope, and letting a high frequency current flow therethrough. SOLUTION: An electrode 12, the tip of which is like a tube, is fixed to the tip of a flexible suction tube 11 made of soft and electric insulation synthetic resin such as nylon or the like, which can be inserted and removed in and from a treatment tool passing chamber of an endoscope by screw-engagement or adhesion. A conductor 13 is connected to the inner surface of the electrode 12, passed through the suction tube 11, and connected to a connecting terminal 15 of a metal fitting 14 on this side of the base end side of the suction tube 11. The connecting terminal 15 is connected to a high-frequency power supply device. The suction tube 11 of this cautery 10 is inserted in the treatment tool passing channel of the endoscope, the electrode 12 is pressed to the diseased part, and a high frequency electric current is let flow to cauterize the part. Thus, caustic protein coagulation is performed to surely stop bleeding. |
