PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a promoter for producing collagen, manifesting sufficient activities for promoting the production of the collagen at a corium fibroblast, and further to prepare a skin preparation for external use capable of inhibiting the generation of wrinkle and the decrease in elasticity, and further excellent in safety and stability. SOLUTION: This promoter for producing collagen contains an extract of one or more kinds of seaweeds selected from Dictyopteris, Sargassum, Dilophus, Ceratodictyon, Asparagopsis, Polysiphonia and Chondria. Further, the skin preparation for external use contains the promoter for producing the collagen. |
