PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shift device which can be operated easily by a driver without hesitating. SOLUTION: A gear shift device is structured so that a second shift path 7 is arranged extendedly in the same direction as a first shift path 2, and the angular motion of the gear shift lever 1 in the second shift path 7 is performed smaller than that in the first shift path 2. To move the gear by one stage in the second shift path 7, the gear shift lever 1 is brought in contact with the plus-sensor 9 or minus-sensor 11 in a short time and, to shift up or down the gear by multiple stages in the second shift path 7, the gear shift lever 1 is brought in contact with the plus-sensor 9 or minus-sensor 11 by reasonable times in a short time. |
