PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably extend the life of a back light as compared with that of an incandescent bulb and facilitate the maintenance of a rotary reel unit. SOLUTION: Lamp cases 7a-7c are arranged behind respective reel bands of individual reels. Each of the lamp cases 7a-7c is separated into three chambers. Each chamber is provided with six white LEDs 31 as back light sources of the reel bands. The white LEDs 31 are individually controlled to light according to playing condition and the operation of stop buttons 15a-15c. The back lights, made up of the white LEDs 31 can extend the life of the light source remarkably as compared with that of the conventional incandescent bulb. As the back light emits light white, symbol color drawn on the reel bands can be determined completely free from the color formed of the light source. |
