<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning device simple in structure with less number of members, made compact in structure and capable of efficiently performing air cleaning, deodorizing and sterilizing. SOLUTION: In this air cleaning device provided with an ion electrode 4, a dust collecting electrode 6 and a DC source 11 connected to both electrodes, the dust collecting electrode 6 is formed by carrying titanium oxide and other optical decomposition catalytic materials on a base material composed of an activated carbon fiber or the like and having electrical conductivity and adsorption property and has filter function. An ultraviolet lamp 5 for irradiating the dust collecting electrode 6 with ultraviolet ray is provided. The optical decomposition catalytic material can be carried on the base material having electrical conductivity and adsorption property.</p> |
