PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceramic dielectric substance not containing expensive rare earth element, and having a high dielectric constant and a high Q-value, and further to provide a method for producing the ceramic dielectric substance. SOLUTION: This ceramic dielectric substance is (1) the one having a composition of (Sr1-x Cax )4 Ti3 O10 [with the proviso that 0<=(x)<=0.5] and a tetragonal Sr4 Ti3 O10 type crystal structure, or (2) the one having a composition of (Sr1-x Cax )3 Ti2 O7 [with the proviso that 0<=(x)<=0.5] and a tetragonal Sr3 Ti2 O7 type crystal structure. The substance is produced by mixing each of at least one kind of oxide, chloride, nitrate, oxalate and carbonate of Ca, Sr and Ti respectively so as to form the composition of (1) or (2), and keeping the obtained mixture within a temperature region of >=1200 deg.C for >=1 hr. |
