PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fold enabling easy ingestion of dietary fiber, calcium and potassium by dehydrating and drying a Konjak (paste made from the starch of devil's tongue) product, adding a food coagulating agent to the powder and forming to a desired form. SOLUTION: The objective food is produced by mixing refined Konjak powder with water and an alkaline component, boiling the obtained raw material in water, dehydrating and drying the produced Konjak product to obtain Konjak powder 10, adding a coagulating agent for food to the powder 10 and forming the mixture to a desired tablet form (e.g. granule, plate or split plate). The objective food is preferably incorporated with a seasoning. As an alternative, a tablet-type formed article 12 having an elliptic form can be produced by mixing the Konjak powder 10 with a food coagulating agent to form a paste and filling and solidifying the paste in a molding machine having a prescribed cavity form. |
