GRAFT-MODIFIED POLYOLEFIN RESIN AND THERMOPLASTIC POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition giving molded products excellent in molding flowability, impact resistance, etc., by including a thermoplastic polyester resin and a graft-modified polyolefin resin obtained by graft- polymerizing a specific compound having a glycidyl group and/or another epoxy monomer having an unsaturated group to a specific polyolefin resin in the presence of a radical initiator. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic polyester resin composition comprises (A) a graft-modified polyolefin resin obtained by graft-polymerizing (ii) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of a glycidyl group-bearing compound of the formula (Ar is a 6-23C aromatic hydrocarbon group bound to at least one glycidyloxy group; R is H, etc.) and/or another unsaturated group-hearing epoxy monomer to (i) 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefin resin obtained in the presence of a single site catalyst in the presence of (iii) a radical initiator in an amount 0.001-500 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component (ii) and having a gel fraction of >=5%, and (B) a thermoplastic polyester resin.
