PURPOSE:To allow the setting of exact piercing time with a simple operation by shortening or extending the piercing time which is previously commanded by a processing program by means of an operating switch. CONSTITUTION:Piercing ends when an operator first pushes a shortening switch to send a shortening signal PTS to a timing control circuit 35 during piercing. On the other hand, the piercing time is extended while an extension signal PTE is effective when the operator pushes an extension switch to send the extension signal PTE to the timing control circuit 35 during the piercing. The timing control circuit 35 sends a control signal to an output gate 32 to control the output and to determine the piercing time. The shortened or extended piercing time is measured by a measuring circuit 36 and is substd. with the piercing time commanded by a holding circuit 34. The time held in the holding circuit 34 is effective as the piercing time of this time. The exact piercing time coinciding with the actual piercing time is set in this way. |
